(More customer reviews)I was having a problem with my treadmill pulling to much current and tripping my house circuit.
My old belt seemed okay but my power cord would get warm and sometimes at higher speeds the treadmill would trip the house circuit. I tried a number of things to correct the problem but none worked.I finally broke down and bought a new running belt. The replacement belt made the difference. Now I can run at any speed setting. Also I noted that this belt is of a higher quality than the OEM belt. Replacing the belt lightened the load on the motor.
Also for those who are troubleshooting their treadmill/belt. look at the backside of the belt to see if it is overly smooth. Also check to see if a little blackness can be detected through the undercoating/layer that is put on the underside of a new belt. This would indicate more friction between the belt and the running board. Once I got my new belt I could definitely see that my old one was worn and needed to be replaced. Don't wait to long to replace a belt as you may cause more damage to your treadmill.
