I had been using it as a clothes hanger for years, and when I started using it again, the older belt either needed some lubrication or just some adjusting, which I didn't notice until it was too late. Thankfully I found this belt online, and it saved me from having to purchase an entire new treadmill. I only use my treadmill for rapid walking, and incline walking, and it does the job nicely. Luckily, I took my old belt off and put it back on as a trial installation run before actually purchasing a new belt, which I'm glad I did, it wasn't as easy as I might have thought, there were a lot of parts to undo and getting it back on more difficult than getting it off. There was one screw that had a spring attached to it, this was a tension screw, and I should have taken a picture of it before I unscrewed it, because I couldn't remember how far to tighten the spring tension. Luckily I had a smaller, identical treadmill in the garage, and I was able to use it as a guideline for re-installation. It would be a good idea to take pictures of these types of things BEFORE dismantling.
The Belt was delivered earlier than expected, so my shopping experience with this item has been excellent.
