Some really stand the test of time and offer numerous benefits to those who choose to use them and others prove to be nothing more than just a passing fad; quick to gain excitement initially but then just as quick to lose their appeal only to be left unused.
One of the hottest new pieces of workout equipment that I've recently discovered is the Running Twister. I can tell you from personal experience that most clients who I work with in the gym dislike their cardio training and even though I might instruct them to put in a good 30-45 minutes on the treadmill, very few actually follow through with these instructions.
Instead, they come up with every excuse not to do their workout and often this causes them to fail to see results. If there's one thing I've learned in my time as a trainer, it's that you must find a way to make cardio training fun again. When the client is enjoying it, they'll be a hundred times more likely to stick with it and at the end of the day that is what will be the primary determinant of getting you the results you're looking for.
Where enjoyment is concerned, you just can't beat the Running Twister. Let's have a quick look at what this machine is all about and I'll illustrate why it's rapidly becoming my favorite piece of equipment to have clients perform their training on. Multi-Movement Action Patterns
The very first reason why I really enjoy utilizing this piece of equipment is because it's going to provide a number of different movement patterns for the client to work through. So often I see clients start suffering from overuse injuries due to the fact that they are always performing the same workout over and over and over again.
This places a very high amount of stress on the body tissues and eventually over time there could be bone pain, ligament pain, or muscular fatigue that requires weeks of rest to overcome.
With the Running Twister though, since they are working across so many different planes of motion, this means that you'll never encounter this issue. Instead, you'll continue to challenge the body in many different ways, also ensuring that a plateau never takes place.
So essentially, what you get with the Running Twister is a very fast and effective way to prevent injuries while also ensuring that constant progression is taking place.

When it comes to my clients, one of the most common goals that I hear time and time again is that they want to get six pack abs. Getting that sleek midsection is always the top priority for most but sadly very few ever realize success.
The reason? Not enough core activation.
While when they perform their sessions with me we always focus on this, when they go off and complete their workouts alone, they see very little core recruitment.
But, this is where the Running Twister really shines. This machine is perfect for working every muscle within the core so I can fully trust in the fact that if my clients are using this piece of equipment for their cardio training, they'll be getting that intense core workout even when I'm not around to make certain of it.
Since many of my clients do complete their cardio training on their own time, this makes for the perfect solution. Variable Intensity Levels
Next up, another big reason why I prefer the Running Twister over other forms of cardio equipment such as the treadmill, bike, or the elliptical is because you can easily vary the intensity levels to meet your needs.
Someone who is a beginner will have no problem creating a workout on this that matches their fitness level while someone who is more advanced can ramp up the intensity so it's still challenging them and getting them to burn fat fast.
Also, interval training is one of the best forms of cardio for any client to be performing and when they use the Running Twister, this is incredibly easy to implement.
This allows them to see far superior fat burning benefits compared to regular cardio sessions and since you have all the other additional factors working in their favor that were listed above, you'll see some very nice toning as well. Very Low Impact
Finally, the last reason why I put the Running Twister in the top spot for my favorite pieces of fitness equipment is because it's also very low impact. Another big issue that many clients face, especially those who are currently quite heavy and have a lot of excess bodyweight coming down on their joints when doing activities such as walking or running is lower back and knee pain.
This is very hard to get around however because in order for them to start losing that excess fat exercise will have to be performed but if their in serious pain as they perform their exercise, then you can obviously see how this is going to be a big problem.
The running twister solves this issue head on.
Since it's incredibly low in impact but yet causes the body to burn up a massive amount of calories, you won't have to worry at all about this problem and can see the weight loss success you need pain-free.
This will allow you to perform more total workout sessions so you can progress faster along with your weight loss program.
So all in all, if you want a piece of cardio equipment that provides cardiovascular, strengthening and firming benefits all while being an incredibly fun workout that will just fly by, you really can't go wrong with the Running Twister.
