(More customer reviews)I'm a long distance runner and purchased this DVD for my wife. I tried it out for the first time and got a great workout. The intervals are great. It starts out BP (base pace) then three 60 second intervals at BP + 2 MPH (miles per hour). Then about 2 minutes at BP then three 60 second intervals at BP + 3 MPH. Next it goes to hills (incline) with three intervals BP + 2% incline, BP + 4% incline, then BP + 6% incline. Then a 2 minute walk to get HR (heart rate) down. To finish it off there are two or three intervals with BP + 2 MPH + 2% incline for 60 seconds, BP two minutes then BP + 3 MPH + 4% incline, then same with 6% incline with the option to opt out and stay at BP. I do this workout 1x a week and receive a benefit. I also purchased the 9.0 & 10.0 runervals and have watched them but have not tried the workout yet. I would recommend this DVD for anyone who wants to improve their cardio workout. It works for everyone since you determine what your base speed is. You will get as much benefit out of the workout at you put into it. Happy running! One last note. I only run on the treadmill as a last option but the DVD makes the time fly by and you get log about 4 miles a workout.
