The Proform 530X treadmill wasn't exactly top of the line, but it had given good service so I decided to try my hand at replacing the belt. All searches for the replacement belt seemed to lead to this one, and since the ratings were good I took the chance that I'd be mechanically adept enough to install it myself. The belt arrived in good shape, with free shipping, about 2 days after I placed the Amazon order. I had the old belt off before the new one arrived, so it only took a few minutes to put the new one on and reassemble the components that needed to be removed or loosened to remove and replace the part. The belt did have rather complete instructions, which I did consult a couple of times, but the operation is pretty straightforward. It did take a short time to get the tension adjustments just right to prevent slipping, but not put too much of a strain on the motor or rollers. And, best of all, as the manufacturers description claims, there was no nasty, new rubber odor. All in all, a first-rate product.
